There are going to be clients who you’re not going to be the best agent for, ESPECIALLY if you’re focusing on a specific niche. That’s why building a relationship with other agents is essential to building success.

Find other agents that specialize in areas that are outside your wheelhouse, and start referring those not-quite-the-right-fit clients to them. Then, when they get clients that would be a better fit for YOU, they’ll refer them to you, as well.

There’s no way around it – if you want to be successful in real estate, you need to ABN – always be networking.

Don’t limit your networking to industry events; you never know when your next client or partner will present themselves. Always keep your business cards with you and look at every conversation as a potential new business venture.
